The self-hosted runtime sends no telemetry by default. Enabling it requires both LIP_TELEMETRY_ENABLED=true and an explicit HTTPS LIP_TELEMETRY_ENDPOINT. At most once per 24 hours, it sends a pseudonymous installation UUID, timestamp, Node major, storage driver, and a fixed feature list. It sends no customer, member, order, location, host, URL, credential, request, error, or free-form field. Delivery times out after three seconds and never retries or redirects. The landing page also has an empty PostHog project token by default. If a public token is configured, it forces cookieless mode, creates no person profiles, disables autocapture, page views, replay, exceptions, performance, heatmaps, surveys, and remote flags, and strips all properties except an allowlisted walkthrough step. See the exact payload and configuration.
