# Platform API overview

> Reference product endpoints outside the normative LIP protocol

The Platform API is served at `/platform/v1` and uses the same Bearer
authentication, rate limiting, write-freeze, audit, and problem response
mechanisms as the reference server. It is a product API, not part of the
vendor-neutral `/lip/v1` conformance contract.

Use it for customer profiles and consent, behavioral events, member imports,
segments, campaigns, connectors, analytics, and attribution. Use `/lip/v1` for
portable checkout, accrual, redemption, rewards, balances, and ledger behavior.

`spec/platform-openapi.yaml` document.
